Looking for someone to support your team by taking on a timely project that others can't fit into their work plan?
Maybe you need an experienced hand to tackle an important task your staff hasn't completed because of higher priorities?
Cabutra is ready and able to provide that short-term contract support.
The following testimonial from a member of the coordinating committee of the California-based One Farm at a Time initiative speaks to the type of projects and timelines we are available for:
We brought him in for a short-term consultancy that related to a
final report we owed to a funder. Within a four-month period, Tom
provided our group with a framework for strategic planning for our
new program, created a fundraising plan, and facilitated a complex
set of disparate aspirations into concrete goals.
Below are summaries of other projects we have been contracted to complete.
We are available for projects lasting a few hours to a few months. Let us know how we can help?
As part of a six month contract with an international media/storytelling NGO working on environmental, health and women's empowerment issues, co-wrote a marketing plan to secure support for a radio drama series promoting UNICEF’s Facts for Life program in Mozambique, and provided technical support for a proposal to the World Bank to implement a communications strategy for a REDD+ program in Liberia.
Conducted a two month contract to research and identify the leading science, non-government organizations and donors engaged in climate change adaptation through marine, coral and mangrove conservation; part of a "landscape analysis" to help inform the design of a Livelihood and Economic Development program focused on addressing climate change through sustainable coastal community development.
During a three month contract, wrote two grant proposal templates for an international solar energy training organization (one for a training for international development professionals, and one for a new teacher’s training program); tailored the international development proposal for a specific foundation (which provided full funding); and wrote and designed a brochure for the international development training program.
